After renovating to give an old home new life, Andrea and Stephen were stumped on how to make sense of their now open and oddly situated floor plan. βWe just keep thinking that taking down so many walls was a huge mistake!β With a fireplace centered in the middle of a long and narrow room and a gaping space at the end of the kitchen island, they knew they needed help. We gave this historic Huntersville home a chic facelift, making it bright, comfortable, and ideal for entertaining.

The client story
βNever having worked with a designer before, we had no idea what to expect. My husband and I live in a house built in the 40s and needed help making the homeβs unique layout suitable for today's lifestyle. Misty came up with ideas to redesign the flow of our house so that it now works for our family. The result was functional, beautiful, and something we could have never done alone. Misty started working on our project just before COVID. Even during a pandemic, she managed expectations while maintaining a cheerful disposition.β
