I wasn’t sure we could create spaces that were awesome enough for the grownups to appreciate but durable enough for the kids to enjoy. Even though I’m married to a designer, I have a hard time seeing the vision. I’ve learned to trust the process (like I have a choice), and I’m glad I did. I remember walking into our bonus room and being shocked at the transformation. I know we designed it for the kids, but I love being in there, too.
